The most popular ski resort of Les Arcs is located in the northwestern part of the vast Paradiski ski area. Created in the 1960s, it united the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the village of Villaroger and the Arc-1600, Arc-1800, Arc-2000 stations and the most fashionable ski station Arc-1850 built in 2007.

First of all, they will be interested in the "black" slopes of Droset, Comborciere, Lanches, Varet, Robert Blanc. They will not bypass the magnificent KL track, which regularly hosts downhill world championships. On the upper slopes of the resort there is a boarder-cross track and hard descents along the glaciers Grand Col, L’Aiguille Rouge, L’Aiguille Grive, Bellecote.
The ski areas Ark-1850 and Ark-2000 are characterized by narrow pistes of the "red" category, laid along the treeless slopes of the mountains. But a little lower, near the Ark-1600 and Ark-1800 stations, there are many wide "blue" trails surrounded by a pine forest.
In 2014, at an altitude of 1800 m, a new ski area Mille 8 began to operate. A unique system of trails with lighting and sound is open until late in the evening. In this part of the resort there is also a toboggan run with obstacles, tunnels and video projections, a well-thought-out fun freeslide track and an animated forest track.
A lot of objects of interest to athletes are concentrated in the Snowp’Arc fan park and the Apocalypse Park halfpipe snowpark. It will be much easier to ride there if you get trained in one of the resort's ski schools. The cost of a six-day course for adults with the provision of equipment rental and ski-pass included will cost 290€.

There are 57 lifts of various designs in Les Arcs, serving skiers throughout the resort. Among them stands out the largest cable car in the world - the Vanoise Express funicular. The 1,824 m long line connects Les Arcs with the neighboring resort of La Plagne. With a capacity of 187 passengers, the cable car can move at speeds up to 45 km/h.
