Verbier - the capital of the Four Valleys - is always popular among those who want to combine varied skiing with quality relaxation. Due to the relatively high slopes (highest point - 3300 m), Verbier guarantees a good snow cover from late November to April. Four valleys are ski areas in the vicinity of the villages of Bruzon, Le Chable, La Tsuma, Nenda, Veysonna, and others. All these areas are connected by a single system of lifts and ski buses. Almost all slopes are suitable for snowboarding, there are few long slopes that are too gentle in Verbier. In Verbier, you can find a variety of slopes (up to 12 km long), the resort is good for ski safari lovers.
Numerous resort restaurants will delight lovers of good cuisine, although the price level is quite high. Verbier is one of the liveliest Swiss resorts and is very much loved by the British. The bars are crowded, especially in the central square in the bar of the Farinet hotel, as well as in the bars "Offshore" and "Big Ben", Verbier also has a sufficient number of discos and nightclubs. The best restaurants of the resort are located in the hotels W, Cordee des Alpes, Nevai, Millenium Le Grande, L'Astrance. The sports center offers a swimming pool, skating rink, tennis courts, sauna, solarium and other opportunities for active recreation. The resort has a relatively small number of hotels, mostly guests are accommodated in apartments and chalets.
– A good resort for large companies with a high level of skiing
– One of the best places for freeride
– A large selection of chalets and apartments - you can stay with several companies, as a rule there are no problems with resettlement
– Relatively short transfer from Geneva
– Very large ski area, enough for 2 weeks
– Good snow cover, as a rule, lasts the whole season, from November to April.
– Expensive ski pass
– Only few 4* and 5* hotels
– The skiing area is “smeared” between several villages, you can “get stuck” in one of them without having time for the return lift
– Living in the villages of the Four Valleys surrounding Verbier can seem boring
