The high mountain resort of Verbier is located on a sunny terrace at an altitude of 1500 m, next to the top of the Grand Saint Bernard. Verbier is one of the largest ski areas and is part of the famous Four Valleys region. 4 Valleys is the fourth largest ski area in the world with 412 km of pistes and 92 lifts. The main resorts of the region are: Thion 2000, Veysonna, Nenda/Sivier, La Tzouma and Verbier.

Verbier is the largest and party resort in the region, built in the style of an Alpine village. A varied evening life combined with a friendly atmosphere creates a feeling of constant celebration. There are few hotels here, so the demand for them always exceeds the supply. Most of the resort is built up with chalets and apartments, more than a thousand in total, ranging from economy to luxury.

Beautifully designed lift systems provide access to 400 km of mountain slopes, the lower parts of which run through picturesque spruce and fir forests.

From Verbier, it is most easy and convenient to get to the ski area of ​​the 4 Valleys. A single ski pass allows you to run 412 km of slopes without removing your skis. Glacier skiing from 3300 m is one of the most difficult in the Alps. Most of the tracks in the region are of increased complexity, so fans of the 4 Valleys can be attributed rather to ambitious athletes.
