How to get from Zurich airport to St. Moritz (route to resort):

Skiers and snowboarders from all over the world love to ski on the slopes of St. Moritz. Very often they fly into Zurich airport and from there take a taxi or order a transfer to their hotel at the ski resort.

Drivers almost always travel along the A1, A3 and A13 autobahns, along the left bank of Lake Zurich. The total length of the path is 228 km, you can cover it in 3 - 3.5 hours (traffic jams and snowfalls affect).

Main route details:

You need to travel in this order: leave Zurich airport and follow the A51 for about 3.5 km. Then drive around Zurich on the left along the A1 autobahn. But in case of serious traffic jams or the tunnel is closed due to an accident, it is better to go through the center of Zurich. Then either along A3 you drive along the left bank of Lake Zurich, or, in case of traffic jams, along the right bank along road No. 17.

After driving approximately 170 km from the airport, you exit the A3 and continue for approximately 58 km through tunnels and the autobahn to St. Moritz

8. About St. Moritz

St. Moritz is a favorite vacation spot for tourists who love respectability and comfort. Among all the Swiss resorts, it is in St. Moritz that the largest number of five-star hotels is located. This resort is included in the list of the best ski resorts in the world. The slopes of St. Moritz have hosted four Alpine Skiing World Championships and two Winter Olympic Games. The skiing season in St. Moritz opens at the end of November.

First-class service and high quality tracks, infrastructure, as well as luxury hotels and restaurants - all this is the obvious advantage and dignity of the resort. Along with this, this is the main disadvantage of the resort - the price of rest is not affordable for every traveler. But nevertheless, you can organize your holiday in such a way as to combine holidays in a neighboring resort and skiing on the slopes of St. Moritz.

About St Moritz

Corviglia is the most popular of all the ski areas. There are mainly blue and red runs here. To get to other areas, you need to take a bus or car. Freeriders are very fond of the Lagalbe area. There are not many prepared trails here. For vacationers with little experience in skiing, the slopes in the area of descent to the town of Potrezina are suitable.

St. Moritz is one of the resorts where it is interesting not only to ski, but also to relax culturally. The city has preserved many sights. This region is very rich in historical and cultural terms. Therefore, if you want to spend your time as richly as possible, we recommend taking excursions or going on independent trips around St. Moritz. As an apres-ski holiday, the resort has spa centers with swimming pools, fitness, gym, as well as beauty and relaxation treatments. Tourists can go ice skating, play polo on ice and even golf.

9. Reviews of our clients

I planned the trip for a long time, looking for convenient flights and further ways to travel to St. Moritz. I decided to go through Zurich with a stop for a couple of days and then advance to the resort. I took a transfer to the hotel in St. Moritz. I liked that the driver arrived on time, that in general the organization was at a good level and without jambs. There were no real fees. So the service is good, I recommend!

Took a car from Milano to St Moritz in January. I wanted to get there quickly and without delay. In principle, this is what happened, if you do not take into account a small traffic jam on the border with Switzerland. But in general, it did not spoil the impressions) The transfer completely suited me, thank you
