The Swiss ski resort St Moritz is located 187 km from Milan Malpensa Airport. The road by car will take about 3,5 - 4 hours. The most convenient and fastest route is along the A36 motorway and then along the SS36 road along Lake Como. There are toll sections on the route.
There is also on the other side of the lake along the A13 highway (via Lugano and Bellinzona). The length of the path is 256 km, the travel time is about the same. Choosing this route, travelers will also have to pay tolls on some roads.
During the high season, we recommend planning your way to the resort in advance. On Saturday, there are especially many visitors on the tracks and therefore there is a high probability of getting into a traffic jam.

You will have to get to it by bus, the road will take no more than fifteen minutes, but you will be quite satisfied with the skiing area. There are red and blue slopes here, which are full of extreme sports and the beauty of the surrounding area. From the village of Silvaplana, you can simply climb to the top of Corvatsch. Here you can drive down the virgin lands and there are trails designed for ski tours. Moreover, the most popular route is the route passing through Giand’Alva and Lake Hahnensee. The extreme track is also located above the Zurlei station. In Corvatsch you can ride at night - this is the most wonderful pastime in the resort. From evening until early morning you can ride on beautiful, well-lit night tracks. This is another distinctive feature of the resort of St. Moritz.
This area is located a little further from the rest, since it takes about half an hour to drive to it. There is a magnificent black descent, about three kilometers long. There are off-piste areas and the only bobsleigh track in the world that is covered with natural ice and hosts the World Cup bobsleigh competitions. There are also toboggan runs, such as the Cresta Run. Surprisingly, it is on the slopes of the Diavolezza area that you can arrange a real ski safari! Of course, this is only suitable for experienced skiers, but there will be plenty of impressions. I draw your attention to the fact that the advantage of recreation is the combination of winter and summer sports and recreation with a wonderful balneological resort. On the territory of the city of St. Moritz is the famous resort of St. Moritz-Bad, which offers vacationers a variety of treatments, such as spa, massage, mud baths and body wraps, physiotherapy and more. In addition, the resort is located on the shore of the lake, and allows you not only to improve your health, but also enjoy the magnificent views and landscapes of the lake shores and mountain peaks reflected in the water surface. Considering also the fact that due to the unique microclimate of the Engadine Valley, the resort is almost sunny and almost windless all year round.
The resort is suitable for families with children, because on its territory there are schools for learning to ski. With children, you can also ride a sleigh, or go horseback riding. In the summer, there is an opportunity to ride bicycles along mountain routes, or take an excursion on the Glacier Express through the surroundings and the most picturesque places.
